Marilyn Rippetoe, LICSW, LCSW

Marilyn Rippetoe, LICSW, LCSW is the Adoption Clinical Manager & Placement Support Specialist for Barker Adoption Foundation, supporting both the older child and international programs. Marilyn holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She has spent her nearly twenty-year career working in foster care as a case worker and therapist and supporting domestic and international adoptions, as well as in the areas of home health, aging services, and school counseling. Her passion for finding permanent, loving families for older children in foster care brought her to Barker’s Project Wait No Longer (Older Child/Foster Care) adoption program in 2023, where she focuses on supervising the search and match process and supporting families between placement and adoption finalization, with her role recently expanding in early 2024 to also provide clinical management for Barker’s international program.
