Marcy Bursac, MA, MBA

Marcy Bursac, America’s Foster Care Adoption Mentor, helps adults navigate the adoption of sibling groups and individual children from the U.S. foster care system. As the founder of The Forgotten Adoption Option, she developed an app, wrote three books, and hosts a podcast to support families. Marcy also created the Foster Care Adoption Awareness Reading Program to raise awareness about foster care adoption in K-12 classrooms. She researches barriers faced by non-kin adoptive families and has been honored with the Pilot Pen G2 Overachievers Grant on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Angels in Adoption® Award, and was crowned USOA Mrs. Ohio 2022.
