Cybersecurity for Adoption Professionals
[This is a Members-Only Course.]
This course discusses cybersecurity concepts that nonprofit leaders and adoption professionals should understand to be able to advocate for and support cybersecurity efforts within their organizations.
Technology affects everything we do. But securing that technology can be extremely difficult with the constant evolution of threats, tight budgets, and understaffing in the IT area. Bad actors will continue to capitalize on successful attack methods and develop new ways to thwart controls. It’s important for nonprofit organizations to ensure that their controls evolve at the same pace so they can continue to protect their organizations and the individuals they serve. In this course, the speaker provides a current update on the threat landscape and recent breaches. They also discuss cybersecurity concepts that nonprofit leaders and adoption professionals should understand to be able to advocate for and support cybersecurity efforts within their organizations.
