Building Children’s Resilience

[This is a National Training and Development Curriculum (NTDC) Right-Time Training course.]

This theme helps parents who are fostering and adopting understand concepts and definitions related to enhancing the resilience of children who have experienced trauma, separation, or loss. Protective factors are described along with strategies on how to build upon these factors to support children develop their self-esteem, and skills toward self-advocacy.
