Mary Ellen Smalley

Mary Ellen Smalley is the Director of Public Relations at the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. She spent 15 years as a journalist before moving into cause marketing and communication. In her role at the DTFA she manages earned media, paid media, research and partnerships. She is a graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Mary Ellen serves as a member of the Columbus Humane Board Marketing Committee. She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband Jerod and her cat, Mr. Brian Williams.
