Jessica Read

Jessica serves in the role of Education Specialist at NCFA, collaborating on a wide range of projects and events designed to educate the adoption community. She came to NCFA in November 2024 after spending 16 years in the field of early care and education, first as a Child and Adult Care Food Program caseworker and family child care licensing trainer at a local non-profit in Rochester, NY and later as a consumer educator and project manager for a national organization in Arlington, VA. Jessica began her career as a Spanish Instructor at Houghton University in Western NY where she also earned her B.S. in Secondary Education and Spanish.

Jessica enjoys playing in local soccer leagues, reading, and baking. She and her husband live in Arlington, VA with their two children.
