David Brodzinsky, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus of Clinical and Developmental Psychology at Rutgers University, as well as research and project Consultant for the National Center on Adoption and Permanency and training and clinical consultant for the Center for Adoption Support and Education. Over the past four decades, his research and scholarly writing has focused primarily on issues related to the adjustment of adopted and foster children and their families. Dr. Brodzinsky currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area, where he maintains a clinical and consultation practice focusing on the mental health needs of adoptive kinship members.
