Celeste Liversidge

Founder, TruAdopt Law, and Co-Founder, Ethical Family Building

Celeste Liversidge is a highly experienced and dedicated adoption attorney with over two decades of expertise in the field. Since beginning her adoption practice in 1999, she has handled hundreds of domestic adoption matters, demonstrating a deep commitment to supporting families and children through ethical and child-centered legal practices. She is a fellow of both the American Academy of Adoption & Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AARTA) and the Academy of California Adoption-ART Lawyers (ACAL).

In 2016, Celeste founded TruAdopt Law, a nonprofit law firm based in California, dedicated to representing expectant mothers considering adoption, ensuring they receive ethical, child-centered legal support. In 2018, she co-founded Ethical Family Building (including AdoptMatch and AdoptChange), organizations committed to promoting ethical adoption practices through education, transparency, and advocacy. Beyond her legal practice, Celeste has served as an adjunct law professor and an active member of various nonprofit boards centered on child-welfare. Her work has been recognized through numerous interviews, presentations, and contributions to policy discussions aimed at safeguarding vulnerable populations and promoting best practices in adoption.

Celeste earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and her B.A. from Westmont College.
