Carolyn Bolton
Advocacy Manager
Carolyn Bolton is the advocacy manager at National Council For Adoption. She is responsible for rallying support around legislative priorities that bolster adoption and strengthen families. Before joining NCFA, Carolyn was communications and marketing director for a charitable fund in northern Virginia.
Prior to advocating for families in the adoption space, Carolyn was a general-assignment reporter for the Santa Barbara News-Press, content editor for Cox Media Group and senior content specialist for CRC Advisors.
She is a graduate of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political communications. Her work has appeared in numerous media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and CNN, among others. She lives in northern Virginia.
