NCFA Announces New Board Leadership

August 7, 2019 – Alexandria, VA – National Council For Adoption (NCFA) is proud to announce newly elected officers of the Board of Directors, who began their terms in June 2019.

Lisa A. Sinclair, Esq. who previously served as Secretary, has been elected Vice Chairman for a one-year term. Nathan Gwilliam has been elected to serve a one-year term as Secretary. I am excited for 2020 as we commemorate NCFA’s four decades of helping children all around the world enjoy the love and security of a nurturing, permanent family,” said Dr. Wayne Winston Sharp, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Vice Chairman

Lisa A. Sinclair, Esq. is Vice President of Legal Affairs and Deputy General Counsel at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She is a cum laude graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Boston College Law School. Prior to law school, Ms. Sinclair was a social worker with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, serving the needs of children and families in crisis.

Secretary

Nathan Gwilliam is CEO/Founder of Elevati, the parent company of Adoption.com. As CEO, Nathan grew Adoption.com to become the world's most-used adoption site.

Nathan has received the "Angel in Adoption" award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, the "Adoption Hall of Fame" award from Families Supporting Adoption, and the "Best of the Decade" award from the BYU Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology.

Nathan has a Masters in Business Administration and currently teaches a college class titled "Social Innovation: How to Change the World".
