Understanding the Impacts of Adoption on Siblings

“What about my other children”? is a question caregivers may ask as they consider foster care or adoption for their families. Or, after a child has been placed in their homes and they’re experiencing the effects, they may ask, “How do I meet the needs of my other children?” Both questions are answered this course in which real-life stories of an adoptive sibling are shared, results from a study of 200+ siblings’ experiences are described, and evidence-based, effective tools and strategies for meeting their needs are explained.
