Kick off your National Adoption Conference experience with purpose and impact by participating in Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, an optional pre-conference opportunity to meet directly with your members of Congress or their staff to champion adoption-related issues.

What to Expect:

We’ll take care of the logistics from scheduling meetings with your U.S. Senators and/or Representatives’ offices to equipping you with everything you need for a successful visit. Participants will receive a comprehensive advocacy toolkit and join a pre-event Advocacy Day Training designed to prepare you to speak confidently and effectively about the issues that matter most to the adoption community.

All meetings will take place on Wednesday, June 24, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., leaving plenty of time to return to the hotel for the conference kickoff at 2:00 p.m.

No prior experience is necessary, just your passion and willingness to speak up.

Why Participate:

Your voice matters. These conversations help lawmakers understand the real-world impact of federal policies on children, families, and the professionals who serve them. By taking part, you help shape a stronger future for adoption in the United States and around the world.
