Janelle Sievert, M. Ed.

Janelle lives in West Michigan with her three kids (two bio and one who joined the family through infant domestic adoption at birth). Her parenting journey (so far) has included learning how to care for a child with significant medical needs, understanding the impact of medical trauma on a child and family, and embracing the beauty and complexity of open adoption. 

Janelle is a teacher consultant for All Belong Center for Inclusive Education, where she supports non-public schools as they seek to be places of belonging for all students. Her work focuses on establishing systems of support in schools and developing individualized plans to help students experience success. Prior to her role as a consultant, Janelle spent 15 years as a special education teacher and then administrator for a Preschool-8th grade school in West Michigan.
